When I downloaded the 1.1.5 64bit setup.exe to my Windows 8 desktop, Windows Defender is still flagging the installer with a "Medium" alert level.
Have you (Rudi) reported this to Microsoft to get them to ease up on the alert?

Re: Windows Defender is still flagging the installer
This aleert is saying that you are installing a "remote access software".
Uvnc is a remote access software.
I don't think they gonna change there defender software for me. LO

Re: Windows Defender is still flagging the installer
Perhaps it's worth considering building an install with just the client (no server); this may avoid any MS concerns about the ability for the computer to be remote controlled without consent.
In our corporate environment it is quite difficult to install UltraVNC as group policy locks down FEP and we can click quarantine. I know the "individual binaries" zip file can be downloaded and then manually extracted into the correct folders but this is awkward at the best.
I know this does little for those requiring the server version but in those instances it's probably acceptable that they are warned about "remote access" that’s what the server product does after all. f their group policy is locking down ignore warnings it's probably time to involve Network administrators anyway.

If you deploy with Bozteck VNCScan does it also flag it on your network? I haven't had any problems yet but I'm interested in hearing if others are.
