Hello.
I am making use of SC that I configured for providing remote support, and currently, I have a link set up on my website that takes a customer to my Paypal account where they make a payment for the first 60 minutes of my remote support, upon which time, I would email them the remote.exe file that would start the process. However, I am not sure this is the best practice. I have just got the "bugs" worked out of getting SC working, and have just got my Paypal account converted over to a Business account so I can get it linked up on my Intuit website. This was my first thought, because I am currently advertising on Craigslist, and I have had a few cases where some clients have called from 50 or more miles away with minor issues that would be perfect for SC. I don't relish the idea of paying for Log-Me-In Pro, and like the idea that SC does not leave itself behind when I am finished with supporting a client.
Is there a better way than giving someone a Paypal link to click on, and then waiting for an E-Mail confirmation that I have received a payment from someone, and then, sending that person an E-Mail that they then have to open to start the process of remote support? I would much rather have some sort of a "Turn-Key" streamlined "automatic" process. I would really like to be able to have something "unlock" on my website, or issue a "ticket number" or "code key" that would confirm payment or some such thing, that would avoid the whole "me E-Mailing" them the remote.exe file they need.
I know while testing for example, Gmail would not let me do the "EXE" file due to it's security....
Thanks in advance.
Glen
