Remote Printer

Post by jomamoto »

I often need to redirect lpt1: from server to host. PC Anywhere has such Virtual Printer driver. Are there plans to implement that functionality in VNC?

You can make this possible with some external tools.
Take a look at RedMon, it's not the same as rdp port redirection but you can come fat enough with it. If you are in the same network just simply share the printer in m$ way.

I have used the GPL Ghostscript install for windows on remote machines which installs a pdf printer...any pdfs created on the remote system can be transfered with to the local system using the file transfer option.....

Also have used pdf995 for this.
