Win 7 - Blank Monitor

I am having a heck of a time getting uVNC to work correctly on my Windows 7 32 bit machines. I have the latest build of uVNC on these machines, but for some reason, cannot get the "Remote Blank Monitor" feature to work correctly. It either doesn't turn the monitor off at all, or I just get a GIANT eyeball on both the server and client machines. What is it that I need to do?

I have the same problem, for a lot of time, but still couldn't find a thread helping for this. Any suggestion would be very appreciated.

I've never had this work properly for me either. I've posted about it on previous threads, but nothing I've done has ever worked. It appears to work better when the mirror driver is used, but I don't use that.

alpha blending screen blanking use layer windows. This doesn't exist in aero
Having the bmp "eye" only on server only works in combination with the "disable aero" server option.

The other option to blanbk the screen use the power save option of the monitor. This doesn't seams to work in all cases.

MS keep changing the behaviour in each OS, this is realy a hell to maintain.

When vnc server is windows 7 is there any reliable configuration to recommend to a customer so screen blanking is guaranteed to work?
We have seen it work sometimes, but sometimes the server isn't blanked and sometimes the viewer is also.
Tried app and service, with different hook and mirror drivers, option settings, etc. with no success.
