Getting tiny window

Hello,

I got a new (used) PC with windows 7. I installed vnc 4.1.3 like I have on all my other computers, and which have connected fine in the past. When I connect with the Win 7 PC to my main PC I get a tiny VNC window when connected to my main PC. When I connect to my laptop from the Win 7 PC I get the normal VNC window.
If I connect to my main PC from the Laptop I get a tiny VNC window. I have been able to get a normal connection in the past to my main PC.
What may have changed?
