How to Blank Server Screen
How to Blank Server Screen
This is probably a really easy question, but I'm not very familiar with how UltraVNC works. We have recently had our computers upgraded at work to Windows 7 and UltraVNC 1.0.9.6.1. Before these uprades, I was able to make the server screen go blank when I remote into it, but I can't figure out how to do that now. Could anyone tell me? I don't need it to do it automatically -- I don't mind pushing whatever button needs to be pushed each time, but I can't figure out what to push. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Re: How to Blank Server Screen
Can anyone help with this? I have "Enable Blank Monitor on Viewer Request" checked on the server's properties, but I can't figure out how to request to blank the server's monitor. I really need to be able to blank the server's monitor.

Re: How to Blank Server Screen
It's one of the buttons of the viewer.
VNCViewer Toolbar
>>>>>>>>> Toggle Remote Input and Remote Blank Monitor.
see:http://www.uvnc.com/docs/uvnc-viewer/71-viewer-gui.html
You need to play with the options (server site) "Alpha blending server blanking."
For this to work, we need layered windows ( supported <win7)
If it fail, you see the image on both sites..... you need to test it.
Possible this still work with " disable aero" option on

Re: How to Blank Server Screen
Thank you very much. I had been pushing the Toggle Remote Input and Remote Blank Monitor button, but it wasn't working. But after I checked the Remove Aero button, it worked (even though I have Windows 7). Thanks again!
