We compiled, using the utilities supplied on the site, and go to install the ultravnc exe on windows 2000 professional we get the error:
winvnc.exe is not a valid Win32 application”
The install works fine on all other OSs - XP, 7, 2003, 2008, etc
Anyone ran into this?
Looking at the site it says it is compatible with 2000?
UltraVNC runs under Windows operating systems (95, 98, Me, NT4, 2000, XP, 2003, Vista, Windows 7...***). Its embedded Java Viewer allows you to connect (and make File transfers) from a simple Web Browser on any system supporting Java (Linux, Mac OS...) to an UltraVNC server.
** 95-NT4: only supported with the old 1.0.2
** 2000 is still supported as special build (VS2008), VS 2010 compiler is not longer 2000 compatible.

Re: 1.0.9.6.1 not installing on OS 2000 professional
bins for w2k are not the same.
The setup.exe auto install the correct bins ( os auto detect)
If you use the bin.zip, you need to use the bins in the w2k folder

Where do you get this bin.zip? We are not seeing multiple .exe files in the latest version, do you have to use an old.exe from a previous version?
