LAN-Only Connections

Post by silekonn »

Hello,

This is a UltraVNC 1.9.6.2 question. As a security effort, it would be preferable to limit the software's access to 'LAN Only.' Does UltraVNC offer any option for connection filtering?

Thank you,

Silekonn

Yes, you can define the allowed/not-allowed IP of the remote viewers with the "AuthHosts=" parameters inside ultravnc.ini.

Reference the thread Limiting what IP addresses can access a server for more information.
