I have tried RealVNC and TightVNC, when working in a command prompt on a remote machine, typing is displayed in real-time.
Using UltraVNC, the letters are delayed by several seconds, sometimes not even shown until I hit ENTER.
Viewer machine is Windows 7 Ultra. Remote machine is Windows 2008 R2 server. Both 64-bit OS's.
Please advise.
Thanks,
Dave

typing in command prompt not keeping up
Re: typing in command prompt not keeping up
Try enabling "Poll Full Screen" in the admin options.

Re: typing in command prompt not keeping up
Thanks. It was already enabled under Properties.
I enabled the other 2 poll options and disabled "Low Accuracy" and it is working better now.
I still see some cropping of the tops of the letters, especially 'i', but now it's keeping up as I type.
Thanks,
Dave

Re: typing in command prompt not keeping up
Is there a downside to using "Low Accuracy (Turbo Speed)"?
Thanks
Thanks
Re: typing in command prompt not keeping up
I haven't noticed much of a difference but it may be because it only helps with low latency/bandwidth connections?
