Server Scale crash

Post by nhearn »

When setting up the VNC Viewer to listen mode and set the default connection options to set the scale as anything other than 1/1, the viewer crashes.
If I set it to 1/1 and then establish a connection, and after the connection is established set it to 1/2 it works perfectly. But if it tries to establish the connection as 1/2 or anything other than 1/1 it crashes.
I am using 1.0.9.6.1 stable, built May 2nd 2011. Initially tried this on a local loop connection and then tried on a different comp.
Both O/Ses are XP Pro v.2002 SP3
Video Hook driver not installed.

Any help or updates on this?

This bug was found on 1.0.8.0 & 1.0.8.2, and should be have been fixed in the releases after.

See these threads:

ServerScale in 1.0.8.2

You are using 1.0.9.6.1 stable (I suppose you meant viewer), but how about the server?

In fact it's the connection from 1.0.8.x server causing this problem.
