Reverse Screen Share

Post by shaunlewis »

Hi there,

I operate a help desk and am wondering if VNC can reverse screenshare, so that the VNCViewer can be shown what is on the VNC-Clients screen?

For instance, if i had something on my screen and could not send you an attachment of it as you are not allowed to have a copy of the information but can see it - can i reverse the screen share and show you?

Help on this would be fantastic.

Thanks
ShaunL

No, not that I'm aware of. You could still run VNC server on your own machine and have the remote person run a viewer, but it would all be a manual transition.

join.me and similar conferencing services might already have that functionality.
