Hi,
We have installed UltraVNC Server 1.0.9.6 on several Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 servers.
When we connect to the servers, neither mouse nor Ctrl+Alt+Supr are working. Yet we have selected Vista addons and mirror driver during setup.
Is this software compatible with Windows Server 2008 R2?
I've read a lot about mouse and Ctrl+Alt+Supr problems, but I have found no clear answer to this question.
Thanks.

UltraVNC Windows Server 2008 R2 compatibility?
Re: UltraVNC Windows Server 2008 R2 compatibility?
I am having the same problem, I think.
v1.9.0.6 x64 installed on Server 2008 R2 SP1.
What was happening was that I was connecting and after entering the password I would get either a black screen or the first refresh of the remote screen and then all communication between the client and server would stop. Using the connection Info tool I could see that the client was sending data but nothing was comming back; not even using the 'refresh' button on the tool bar got any response back from the server. The server would even continue to think the client was still connected long after the client disconnected.
It turned out that the problem was that I was running an older version of VNC Viewer on my client machine. Once I had upgraded that to v1.9.0.6 as well it fixed the problem.

Re: UltraVNC Windows Server 2008 R2 compatibility?
I gave follow the recomendation of installing latest uvnc version (1.0.9.6.1) both sides (Client , I'm using Win7, and Server, Win 2008 R2) and still suffering the problem of the viewer client not sending to the server the key combination "CTL+ALT+SUP". So, I can't log in. Any idea? Thks.
