Viewer to Support & Repeater Port mismatch

Post by PaulW »

Compiling issue if changing the Viewer Port:

I ran a compile (CHUNKVIEWER setup version 331) after entering PORT 9177 for the viewer port. After compiling the Viewer compiled :surprise: with wanaddressn:9177 but the InstantSupport & Repeater compiled with default! (Port 5901). Is there a way to fix that?
How about Now? And Now?

There are TWO ports involved -- the repeater has to listen on both of them. In your case the repeater is listening on port 9177 for inbound viewer connections, and on port 5901 for inbound server connections.

Just did a test with a fresh download of 3.3.1 and it works as expected when changing the Viewer port to 9177.
Make sure you are using the latest release as this was a bug in previous versions.

Let us know if you still have troubles with 3.3.1
