dual VNC server

Post by decapeter2 »

Hi :)

i would like to know if i can install 2 VNC server on the same computer?
The first one lunch as service in command line connected to a repeater and the second one in normal mode listening and waiting on default port 5112...

or can i connect to repeater AND default port with only one server?

(the network is secured so i need to connect in local netword on default port with the first client and from internet on repeater with the second client)

thanks a lot.

You can't really run two different VNC servers as far as I understand.

HOWEVER, you can connect outbound to a repeater AND have normal inbound connections too. I've tested that scenario myself, somewhat inadvertently, when first trying out ChunkVNC.
