Re: iPad VNC Clients
Will you add repeater support at any stage?
I'm currently developing a VNC client based on VNSea just to gain repeater support on the iPhone/iPad without the use of the modified repeater (Thus allowing the password to be enabled through a repeater connection for some extra security). If any iPhone/iPad client would implement such feature I would stick to that VNC client, however none of them supports it, and the only way to get through is by using a modified repeater using the hack I proposed earlier about sending the ID as a password (Therefore I get the drawback of being unable to set a password on the VNC server which can be done with slight modifications on uVNC server's code).
I'm going mad drawing on the iPhone/iPad as he UIView has the Y-Axis inverted and I guess it will take some time to get a full blown client, so it would be great to get this feature in a VNC client. Right now, I don't see that much of a difference between all the existent VNC clients for iPhone/iPad, as most of them have the same key features, and performance is very similar between one and the other. The repeater is easy to implement, and would be a very interesting feature IMHO.
