  - Backend Database uses ODBC. Access (default) / SQL 2000 and 2005 are fully supported.

Installed this program twice. Click the shortcut to run it, and nothing happens.

Try right-click on the short-cut --> Properties --> Compatibility and select "Windows 2000" compatibility mode.

I tried that and it worked. Not bad for a freebie, but could do with multi-threading for the scanning.

Nice that it will work with any type of client by setting up a template for it, and you can store the setup programs for your 3rd party clients in a repository so other users of the same database can install them.

There is a known issue in v1.4.x editions where the program will not run after installation. Please refer to the Visual Themes KB for workaround.

Multi-threaded port scanning will be added in a future version.

v1.4.8 is in final testing at present and I am hoping to have it released in the next couple of weeks.

v1.4.24 - Released 3rd January 2011

New Feature: Minor GUI enhancement to the Login screen, pressing TAB key on text boxes now auto selects all the text.

New Feature: The RDC-AutoAccept and RDPSSO tools are now shipped within the primary setup package and will extract to a .\RCM\Tools folder.

Bug Fix: The Move Group command would allow users to move groups into locations which would cause RCM to hang on startup or when the Groups folder list was refreshed. If you now attempt to move a Group into one of the following locations the operation will not be allowed:-
A sub group.
On itself.

Bug Fix: When creating a new Group a error could occur.

Just installed RCM to test, but when I login I get an error:
"The database version does not match the version required for use with this build (v1.4.24)
The current database version is 19
The dayabase version required is 20
Remote control manager will now close."

This is a known issue, if you let the database upgrade continue all will be fine.
If you continue to have problems let me know.

I tried to download Remote Contol Manager by licked it's URL link, and then my browser was directed to http://www.cgreen.me.uk with the following error message:

Why it was happen?

Remote Control Manager is not available for use?

Bug Fix: The database shipped previously had to be upgraded as part of the v1.4.24 installation. The correct database is now included.
