Monitor Blanking for other clients...?

Post by Darkstrike »

Forgive me if this has already been suggested!

I was thinking earlier yesterday evening; when a client enables Monitor Blanking, the screen on the host goes blank / displays a picture, however the screen for other CLIENTS is still 100% visible. Would it be possible for monitor blanking by one client to blank the screen for all OTHER clients AND the host...? Or to add a feature which allows a client or host to blank individual screens of connected clients or the host?

An example - Let's say a client has to input a password (that doesn't display asterixes or dots in the password field as they type it). They can prevent the host from seeing the password by blanking the monitor, typing the password, and then unblanking the monitor when they are done. All of the other clients connected at the time will still see the host computer's screen, even though the host will not.

This is not possible.
Screendata is captured once and reused for all clients.

In that case, you better set the option "allow only one client".
Only one viewer can connect at the same time, but you are sure nobody can see the password.

Ah, I understand! The password thing was just an example, I was just curious about the function. Thanks anyway! :)
