HI,guys,The Mirror Video Driver is a driver that UltraVNC (for instance) can use to be quickly and efficiently notified with screen changes.
NOW,I want to try it. But when I choosed "video hook drive" and clicked "check the video hook drive",then it said "title=drive info: requried version 1.22" and "text=drive not found: perhaps you need to reboot after install"!
by the way ,my os is windows xp,and ultravnc's version is 1.9.6.1.
What should I do? Please help me?

Re: drive info:required version 1.22
I just noticed this, too, (on XP Home SP3 with UVNC 1.0.9.6.1)
and now, I wonder how to get this hook driver installed properly.
Checking that driver, it says in the message´s title bar:
driver info: required version 1.22
Below that, the message itself says:
1.00.22 driver Not Active
The usage of capital and small initial letters in this message is chaotic, anyway, btw. .
No updating of the driver and no rebooting can help.
Seems like I don´t get this thing to work. No way!
To me, it looks like a version conflict because according to the above message,
the driver is 1.22, but 1.00.22 is required.
But I can´t find any download of the 1.00.22, no matter how hard I try.
And additionally, it says in the hardware manager, the driver is 1.1.0.0.
So, everything about that hook driver is absolutely confusing
and I´ve got no idea, what info I can rely on in the end...
(I´m on a german system, but I don´t use any tanslated UVNC files.)
Who can help, please?

Re: drive info:required version 1.22
There driver version 1.00.22 and 1.22 are the same.
The number should be removed, it doesn't make any sense.
The driver name was changed in mv2, and there exist only one version
of the mv2 driver.
Driver is always "not active" when no viewer is connected, verify while connected.
*If not running as service, the user that starts winvnc need to have service access, else winvnc
can't activate the driver ( permission)

Re: drive info:required version 1.22
Thank you!
I think about it the same way,
because the number "1.00.22" must be wrong.
Usually "1.00.22" means,
it´s a version from some 1.00.xx series,
which always is an earlier version than 1.22.
As for the version check...
Now, I see the driver being active, too.
Thanks again!
