[Solved] Where 'copy folder' zip file is created?

I have UltraVNC running on a VM with limited privelages. When I try copy a folder from it (any folder) it says Error File <(folder)> is not accessible on the remote machine.

I notice when I copy from a PC with full privelages, it says "compressing zip file" then it copies a zip. So it is probably the zip creation which is failing.

Can I get some more info on this please? Where the zip is created, other privelages that may be required.

Ok Solved this. (using win internals Filemon)

The user that is logged in needs access to:
On XP64: %WINDOWS%\system32\config\systemprofile\Local Settings\Temp
On Win2K: %WINDOWS%\Temp

Why does user impersonation not work? I have enabled User Impersonation. After accepting admin properties it asks me what user. I specify 'Administrator' with the administrator password.
Surely the ultravnc should be reading files, and creating the zip files as 'Administrator'?
It is clearly not, because if I try create a folder in 'Program Files' while logged in with a user account, with the UltraVNC File Transfer utility, access is denied.

I think the "user impersonation" feature applies ONLY to File Transfers using the built-in UltraVNC File Transfer system. It does NOT affect what you can do on the desktop you are remotely controlling (I think).

Were you using the File Transfer feature?
