Viewer can view but no control

Post by slaughterah »

Hi,

Ive installed ultra vnc viewer and server, and I can view the screen fine, once i pop in my details, but I can't control, I have checked Active Directory groups and all is configured fine, I even removed the security groups and just used the field that is supplied to try password and still no control.

If you have control or FULL ADMIN as its called then you should connect to the PC with full control? Nothing further is required ??

Any ideas on what this might be?

Unless you're using UltraVNC's "MSLogon" support, your AD groups and security have NOTHING to do with what you can do when connected.

If you're not getting control, make sure your "view only" and "VNC passwords" are NOT the same.

Hi,

thanks for the replies, it was the "disable viewer inputs" that was stopping me from controlling. Thanks for the links.
