Lost in information - how to manage number of computers

Post by holian »

Dear Master,

I think i lost in information about UVNC. I would like to manage 20 computer with UVNC. (remote support, remote configuration).

So i tought i have to install UVNC to every clients and than i can connect to them, with picking the computer from a list.

May i wrong thats not possible?
- if i'm wrong, than how can i use VNC to manage computers, and computers who run the service automatically connect to server, than i can pick the computer from a list where i want to connect?

May i wrong if i think i should use Ultra VNC Single Click if i want to manage computers?
- if so, how can i set to log the activity while managing computers?

Thank you masters.

1. No, you don't want Single Click for your purposes.

2. Yes, you install the UltraVNC Server (as a service) one time on each machine you wish to control.

3. There's no "list". You just have to know the host names or IP addresses of each computer you wish to control, and point the VNC Viewer to the address of the machine you want to control.

4. If you really want a "list" function there are several separate software applications that will help you do that, including the free MRemote, MRemoteNG, iTalc (just Google them), and some more commercial applications that post in our "VNC-Related Products" forum.

Good luck!
