sc stop remote video when install a certificate on remote pc
sc stop remote video when install a certificate on remote pc
Hi. When I am connected with a remote pc through sc, if i try to install a certificate in ie at the remote pc, when ie show the windows security advertisement for answer yes or no, sc stop responding video but if i move the mouse, the mouse moving in the remote pc but i can not see nothing because the video is freezing.
Re: sc stop remote video when install a certificate on remot
Try hitting Alt-Y or Enter to answer yes to the prompt.
Re: sc stop remote video when install a certificate on remot
hi. if I click alt-y, i can continue and the image return but sometimes i can't know what is the opcion that i can click. My qüestion is that if there are a solution for this behaviour?.
Re: sc stop remote video when install a certificate on remot
Honestly I'm surprised you retained any control at all when the elevation prompt showed up.
To get the effect you're looking for (retaining view and control all the time) I think you need to install VNC as a service. The easiest way I know to do that is to use SCPrompt or ChunkVNC instead of UltraVNC SC, but it's been a while since I tried SC.
Or you could have your end user deactivate UAC.

Re: sc stop remote video when install a certificate on remot
hi B. UAC is not present on a remote pc with Windows xp. Do you prefer SCPrompt or ChunkVNC instead of SC?
Re: sc stop remote video when install a certificate on remot
Ah, so that's why you retained control (no UAC). Maybe it's just a video issue then; I'm not sure.
Yes I do prefer the other two packages, but it's been a long time since I tried creating an SC -- in the past it gave me nothing but trouble.
Of the two, it's kind of a toss-up for me. Chunk is very repeater-centric, so if you as the "viewer" will be roaming you might lean that way.
Personally I end up using LogMeIn Free more often than not for my purposes. I keep checking back on the progress of the SC derivatives to see if they get closer to what I'm looking for.
