Slow keyboard

1.0.8.2. Vista on client. 7 on server.

When using program on server from client side, text box entry is very slow. Any way to speed it up?

I have a similar problem. Win 7 on the client. XP SP3 on the server.

Typing in an application on the server can be very slow. Often have to wait a few seconds for keystrokes to appear.

is a bit annoying slow writing if there no FileTransfer running !
is made slower update for the case of FileTransfer, but if not , there no reason to slowdown typing.
i totally agree with both of you.

Just installed UltraVNC after longtime TightVNC user.
Is the slow text speed typical?
Are there settings to optimize for text entry?

Was hoping to block server(local) screen while remote viewing, but that doesn't seem to work.
