I'm trying to create a package that installs only the viewer, and changes some settings so that the user doesn't have to find them.
I can't seem to find anywhere, documented or in the registry/file system where the setting in options "Reconnection attempts" is saved. Where are the client settings stored?

you need 1st connect to remote with correct settings, then save as
vncviewer default.vnc or any custom name by user like hostname.vnc
