There are 3 here:
http://www.uvnc.com/pchelpware/sc/creator.html

based on REL xxx or 2009 and whatnot and then other links in the forums.

I know I'll get responses such as 'that depends...' but it'd make sense to deprecate some of the older versions of this online creator as some just seem broken.
I also don't know the version numbering since it seems to make no sense. Goes from : why not unsticky some of these, publish the most recent url on the main page and just have links to archived versions on the main ultravnc page
[edit]- added links and some descriptions. Looking more at this, perhaps there are differences and if so they need a brief description of why they are different. Not just 'based on RC23' or 'update 2009'.

I guess it all depends on whether you're using it for LAN usage, WAN usage,
if you want to have ad hoc support where anyone can create a remote session and they specify a meeting id or have hard coded lists of technicians. regardless, more user friendliness to picking which one you want would be nice.
    For instance
    UltraVNC Singleclick: LAN Support Client
    UltraVNC Singleclick: Internet Support Client
    UltraVNC Singleclick: Quick Connect

Naming conventions that clearly describe the purpose of the variation makes more sense

I agree. I think I followed the directions well, until the final step. Now I'm unsure which version to pursue, except that I don't want SC III, the repeater version. I guess '09, for its Win7 support.
