Re: No request pop up when user is using RDP
More information would be helpful.
The UltraVNC server must be run as the user and not as a system service in order to control the RDP session AFAIK.

Re: No request pop up when user is using RDP
Service is running as local account.
http://yfrog.com/16ultraservicej
variables
A Main user
B VNC viewer
C another machine
When user is on A machine & request is made from B machine, A can see the request, if A user is not physically present @ his location, & if he uses RDP from C to connect to A, & when request is made from B to A, A will not be able to see any kind of request popup ( now C is controlling A using Microsoft RDP ).
I want user to get pop when he is controlling his machine via RDP.
I Hope so its clear now...

Re: No request pop up when user is using RDP
As I said, you cannot install UltraVNC server as a system service to get the desired effect.
Have the UltraVNC server run as a startup item for the local user instead.

Re: No request pop up when user is using RDP
ok fine adding winvnc to startup works great but.
Service in automatic mode won't work, so did Manual. but problem is when system is in log off state I can't connect through vnc viewer:-(..anyways to overcome this ( regardless of user login )
Service in Automatic---no popup
Service in Automatic--when system in log off state I can connect using vnc viewer
Service in Manual--popup
Service in Manual-when system in log off state I cannot connect using vnc viewer ( shows failed to connect to server)

Re: No request pop up when user is using RDP
I think you try to run as system and user mode
winvnc -connect hostname -sc_prompt -multi -run
-multi ignore/override if winvnc already running

Re: No request pop up when user is using RDP

Re: No request pop up when user is using RDP
I don't mean to sound harsh but you don't even seem to try anything. If you get stuck during the process consult google first and then post here. We can't set everything up for you but we won't mind helping when you have a question.how to run this on user machine..or how to include this during vnc setup. ? I have no idea about this.please help
redge has given you plenty of information on having UltraVNC startup when the user logs in, give this a try. I'd suggest just putting a link in the users startup folder with the commands that have been recommended.
You say you have problems with ChunkVNC but I've never seen a post by you in the ChunkVNC subforum. I don't want to hijack this thread for that issue so please post the problem there if it could be an option for you (which may not be the case since you don't prefer the ID number).
Good luck.

winvnc -connect hostname -sc_prompt -multi -run

forget the preivous story.
1. install uvnc 1.0.9.5 as service system on your windows terminal server by account computer administrator.
http://www.uvnc.com:8080/downloads/ultr ... -1095.html
reboot
2.then replace the winvnc 1.0.9.5 by the winvnc from uvnc 1.0.9.6 beta
http://www.uvnc.eu/download/winvnc1096Beta.zip
run as computer administrator uvnc_settings.exe
configure tab network
save
then go to user account from terminal service, open uvnc settings. as limited account. user need to seelect where to connect.
that your requirement should be available, need to test
i don't know you have enough knowledge for this test.
i'm not sure is complete your requirement.
