Repeater on cPanel/WHM

Hi, I started looking at ChunkVNC a few days ago and realised I needed an external repeater to be able to support my clients, so I've wrapped Karl Runge's perl script into a WHM plugin. I'm looking for a few users with cpanel servers to test for me. Is there any interest ?

It's working well for me, but I only have one or two clients at a time, so thought I'd try and share.

is repeater.pl use some of this ?
PHP followed are disabled by security : passthru(), set_time_limit(), popen(), exec(), shell_exec(), system() et proc_open().

if no, perfect.
if yes, i must cancel web hosting.

It's all perl or shell script, as far as I'm aware there's no security issues if you're running cPanel/WHM.

Hi all,

Just to clear any confusion, this is a plugin for running on a server which uses whm/Cpanel hosting software. It's probably one of the best known solutions, but you will need root access to install and run it. The ease of running it with a gui means that you can turn it off when you don't need it and keep some sort of security. I'm working on a few checks and some documentation and i'll release it.

This has been the bummer part for me, I have a shared hosting account that uses cPanel but they obviously don't allow me root access.

Non the less really great work putting this in a package, I'm sure people will find it useful.
