How do I stop the repeater service from using port 443, when running as a service?

Re: Repeater Service (As Service) Listening Ports
Disabling 443 in the gui doesn't effect the service. Installing and running the service doesn't run the gui. The service runs in the background.
Is this the correct behavior?
