I have installed UVNC on our corporate machines however they were all configured at the time using the INI files.
I now want to start using the registry instead. If I click the options under admin to use the registry instead of the INI file, does that simply copy the config as it is and import into the registry or does it simply use default values and I'll then have to configure them all again?
Update: UltraVNC 1.4.3.6 and UltraVNC SC 1.4.3.6: https://forum.uvnc.com/viewtopic.php?t=37885

Re: Question about migrating from INI file to registry
Value's from ini or not converted to registry value's.
The Registry can be hard to configure.
Winvnc use user and system value's.
The system value's are loaded and updated with the user value's...
In case a user has set his own password
Nobody logged on, no user -> system password is used.
User logged -> user passwd is used.
From Vista>= you also have virtual registry's makes it even harder to find
what registry the system is using...
This was actual the reason we move to a ini file, this way all settings are always at one place. If you want to update multiple PC, you can create a refference ini on your own system, and copy it to all other.
