Post by fida »

Hi,
I am using rel 3.1 and I have installed a repeter and it work regular
If I execute instantsupport.exe from Win XP it work very well but if I execute it from Windows seven it not work and on viewer it tell
status: Negotiate Protocol Version
Speed 123 kbit/s
Bytes Sent 0
Bytes Received 0
But on windows 7 after the execution of Instantsupport.exe it give me the number for connection but immediately after it visualize a small window called INITIATE CONNECTION and 2 input values: Hostname and Connection#
The same instantsupport.exe on Windows XP work well

The initiate connection window appears when a connection to the repeater could not be made.

Works fine with Windows 7 for me and other users, is there a firewall installed other than the Windows one?

If you are testing on your local LAN and your router doesn't support loopback you'll have to compile an InstantSupport with the local LAN IP of the repeater.

Consider trying 3.2 beta.
