connecting to ultravnc server closes an application on host

This is my first post and therefore let me express my gratitude for this wonderful piece of software.

Here is my situation and problem: I installed the VNC Server on a Windows 2000 Professional machine in one subnet. On the same computer, a CCTV application called Evertech Server and its client called EvertechXP run. The client Evertech application can be run from any other computer in anther subnet and reaches its server application (and its the original client application) on the host through its IP and the ports 5001, 48100,48101,48403.

While everything goes fine, if a user (UltraVNC client) tries to connect to the UltraVNC server where the CCTV serve and client applications run, the UltraVNC connects successfully but closes the connection between CCTV client application and CCTV server application.

We opened the port 5090 (only tcp protocol, but not udp) for UltraVNC in unidrection from subnet where the UltraVNC clients run to the subnet where the UltraVNC server runs.

Do any of you have any idea what might cause this problem? Should I also open the port 5090 in bidirectional mode?

there a lot of bug solved and improved performance and stability.
