hey,

my prob is the following:

when i connect to my vnc server installed on my xp desktop machine via the locale ip: 192.168.. it connects without any problems.
But when i use the internet ip, the viewer shows me the message:
Server closed connection- The Server is running as application
although it sais it accepted my password...

ultravnc server is running as service!

any suggests`?

This actual mean, connection closed by server.

If you are running as service this is in 99% cases caused by the firewall.
The firewall allow a few bits to pass before clsoing the connection.

"Server closed connection- The Server is running as application"
replace by
"connection closed by server"

Hi folks, does anyone know if this been fixed for 1082 and above? I tried 10933 and get the same error.

When I try the 1056 viewer with 10933 it works just fine, like another thread user noted.

Unchecking the Java Viewer didn't work btw (as another user suggested)
