Hi,
I'm new at this forum but intesive user of UltraVNC since 4 years ago.
My problem is as follows:
1. I've installed version 1.0.2 (since I'm running W98) succesfully. No changes at Administrative properties (everything with default settings).
2. Server has no proxy. Connection is cable modem. No firewalls installed (only antivirus Nod32 v2.7 which has not got any firewall). No other software running.
3. When trying to connect from another computer it connects... asks the passwords... accepts it... but inmediately server closes the connection.
As I say, I discarded any firewall issue (none installed). I also discarded Nod32 problem (I also tried without it).
Server has 120MB RAM.
Anyone came into a similar problem? Any advise?.

I have had similar problems. After a lot of trials with the integrated Intel 865G grafic, I changed to an AGP ATI Radeon 9200 and everything was OK!
I believe that there are problems with the Intel chip sets! I have had the problem before with other Intel chip sets.
