UVNC SC terminates immediately when run

Post by edmullen »

I have a sc.exe file that was working fine about a month ago. Today I had my user run the file again to finish some support work for her.

When she clicks "Internet support" the tray icon pops up and says "Connection Active" and then immediately closes.

I suspect some security update in Windows since we last used the file.

I had her turn antivirus and firewalls off. Same thing.

So, I tried running the file on my system and the same thing happens.

Her machine is Windows XP SP3 and mine is Windows 7 Professional. Both are fully updated.

I used the RC23 creator at:

Again, this same file worked fine last month.

I even tried making a new file today with the same results.

Any help greatfully appreciated.

Here too !!!

Only recompiled previous personalized version zipped file with no changes to test,
only RC23 Uploaded works,
all other terminates after activating in the Taskbar.

Looking forward for a more stable solution,
sad after years of good service.
