Can you map DSMplugin registry key
I was just wondering if you can add the key in the DSMplugin to do a search for the key such as
\server\ultra\shared\rc4.key in order to ensure everyone is using the same key? Or do you have to have it installed locally.
Thanks
Thanks
I moved this to the proper place. just an FYI.
I think if you have a network share and it is accessible to all you can then point all configurations to that network share..
granted.. if the share is down it may not work properly.
e.g.
\\Server\ShareName\rc4.key
should work as long as all users have access to it all the time.
CAUTION - If its not on the local machine and you dont allow ANONYMOUS ACCESS to the network share for the key... the plugin will probably fail.. Since the Service runs with local admin rights.

A couple ways to do this...
With the Registry version of the plugin you can set the registry entry to point just about anywhere you want...
With the NoReg plugin you'll need to use a System environment variable to point the plugin to the key.
I don't think I've specifically tested with a UNC, but it should work.
