you forgot to open port 5900 TCP on the router or firewall of host computer

you need install UltraVNC as service on every computer you want to acces from WAN <--> WAN <--> LAN <-->LAN
UltraVNC 1.0.9.6.1 (built 20110518)
OS Win: xp home + vista business + 7 home
only experienced user, not developer

with my router I opened the router and directed to 5900 port to # 1PC, 5905 to #2 pc, 5910, to #3pc so on and so on. Also I let the rouer direct port 5800 to #1 pc, port 5805 to#2 pc, open port 5810 to pc #3. 5900's port for using the viewer, and the 5800's for connecting using the internet like...XXX.XXX..X.X::5800(or 5805 or 5810) to connect from browser. Doing the same useing the viewer. XXX.XXX..X.X::5900(or 5905 or 5910) to connect.

The XXX.XXX..X.X= 10.12.120.54 or any wan ip, not the networks ip

Hope this helps took me a long time with others helping me.

10.12.120.54 isn't a global IP address.

Like Lizard said this is not a global IP. Meaning this specified Address is reserved for special uses - e.g. your Satellite provider's INTERNAL network.

You can try going to www.whatismyip.com but that will do you no good. You need to contact your satellite provider and ask for the ports you wish to use - like mschroe919 said - and have them forwarded through to you.

Most likely they are blocking everything unless it is initiated out first. Since its pay by byte or whatever.

If it's just to connect internall computers to other internal computers then you should set up the same ports for each computer. If you want an external computer to be able to look at all 3 computers - you need a UNIQUE Port for each computer. Otherwise there will not be a way to route properly. If you have more than say 5-10 it may be worthwhile to look into the repeater option with UVNC.

Lastly - What may work out for you is something called Single Click - UVNC Single click may alleviate all port forwarding problems since it will be initiated on the clients side behind the router on the internal network of the satellite provider. I havent ever tested this behind two networks but if you want you can give it a try if your Satellite provider will not forward those ports for you.

Either rate I think this can be done.. but not without a few talks with your satellite company... and the easiest way for 3 computers to be connected is the way mschroe919 stated for port forwarding for each computer.
