Guys,
Yah Yah... Download RC19, and I will tonight when I get home. Doesn't solve my problem now though.
Anyways.. When I try to connect using the Java Viewer, I get the following error message.
"Error: Host This.ismy.domain port 1234 is not an RFB server
I have verified with NetAdmin to make sure the ports were opened.
I opened the ports on my home machine. I am able to connect with the standard viewer, and standard using DSM plugin.
But I cannot get connected using the Java Applet.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
GoW
P.S. Suggestion; What about an HTTPS server for secure Java Transmisions.

Java Viewer RC18
***Im only going to reference DEFAULT PORTS***
You are using port 5800 in the web address right? For that matter you have port 5800 forwarded correct?
If you can connect via the viewer thats great, this means you have th port forwarding for 5900 set up correct. But did you set up your web port also to be forwarded?
If you didnt you have to set it up for port 5800 and then use your web browser with http://www.yoursite.org:5800
If the java applet doesnt properly load go to Sun and get the newest JRE. I dont remember what version it is but dont use the Microsoft VM Java client.. that just plain ol stinks.

Yes the Web Port is forwarded.
I have (port number is for reference only) 5800 forwarded to my internal network IP. Its setup the same as the default viewer port.
Question: Since I have DSM configured and set to be used. Will the Web interface still function?
Or is it incapable as it has no way to reference the DSM key file?
I think that **MIGHT** be the problem but I am not sure.
Java was updated as of last week so I am fairly sure its the lates version.
And I never use Mircosoft JVM it sucks puddy b@11s.
Thanks for the help,
