Multiple sessions

I am new to this forum but I hope that I can get some help and offer some in return.

I am just trying to do some research on vnc. My company is trying to come up with a good solution to provide access to remote users to some network resources. We are a small, and fairly new company with six total network users. We are currently using the windows 2003 server remote desktop function to provide access to users, but we need to make it a little more robust. The windows remote desktop only supports two independent sessions at any given time. We need to have four people able to work on the server remotely at the same time. Each person will need to be able to access the same programs remotely and not notice that the others are working. I understand that latency might be bad, but that is not a big concern with us.

Will Ultravnc work for our situation.

P.S. Please keep in mind that I am not currently a vnc user. I am simply looking to see if Ultravnc is a viable solution for my company

Unfortunately the VNC viewer / Server application only gives you acces to a single session.. the console.

There was an interesting post about how someone allowed multiple uses by having thier users (5 I think) try to connect but not allow the connection until someone else logged off.

Since you want concurent sessions unfortunately the Windows Terminal Services will work for you but the licensing for application is not exactly what I would call cheap.

If you are interested I can search around for what the guy did but again its only one concurent session, as soon as they disconnected the next one in line got in, so on and so forth.

He did find a small issue that if someone closed the session it would show the new user connecting the logoff screen.. but no big deal if you dont care... If you do, thats a caveat.

let you run 2 servers, but both have the same content.
