I have used UltraVNC w/ NPF 2003 many times w/ no problem. This is the first time with 2005 and I am getting the following error msg:
Connection failed - Error reading Protocol Version
Possible causes:
-You've forgotten to select a DSMPlugin and the Server uses a DSMPlugin and the Server uses a DSMPlugin
-Viewer and Server are not compatible
-Bad connection
NPF 2005 is running on the viewer computer. There is no firewall on the server computer. I have port 5900 opened in NPF2005.
Any ideas?

Problem with Norton Personal Firewall 2005
Your firewall is not set up to allow the application and the port both work.
You may have to explicitly set up the app to work in conjunction with the port. Not only that, it may require you to specify the IP of the connector in order for it to work also.
I would check out nortons KB.. or call them to help you set up this program.
