Another viewer inputs issue

Post by lkubler »

Hi,

I've been using 1.0.8.2 now for most of this year and this is the first time I've run into this issue. I have VNC Server loaded on all my computers and the client on the two I use most often.

I'm building a new computer and loaded the server on it and set it up like the others. Problem is, when I connect to it from my Vista client (32bit) the input from the client is ignored. The Disable Viewers Inputs option is not selected.

When I connect from my older Windows XP client, running version 1.0.1, it works fine.

The server is a Windows XP Pro 32-bit system with sp3.

Any ideas why the 1.0.8.2 client on a Vista workstation won't work with this server? I have other XP Pro based servers and they work fine from the Vista client.

Thanks in advance,
Linn

I didn't know there were different passwords, I thought it was just an option.

Where do you set the two passwords?

Thanks,
Linn
