Copying of files locked on destination computer

Post by trejder »

Hi there,

UVNC 1.0.8.2 allow to copy a file that is locked (being used) by some application on destination computer. Tested on File Transfer Window on Windows Client only.

If, for example, MyLib.dll is locked because a program executed on remote machine is using it, my local UVNC client does not refuse to copy that file (as supposed to) but instead of that copy a file renaming it to something in form "!UVNCPFT-MyLib.dll".

Is this normal? In my opinion this is some kind of mistake or misunderstanding. If a file is locked in any way it user should not be able to copy it.

Regards,
Trejder
