UltraVnc is the best! it really is - Just one thing would make it better..
I know there has been alot of discussion about security here so I will add my comments - I am an admin in a school I use UltraVnc for user support but some of the teachers use it for teaching.
Some of the teachers are local Adms.
I would like UltraVNC to allow you access to the properties function only if you are in the correct VNC domain group.
i.e. even if you are a local adm you still cannot change UVNC properties.
It's really frustrating that I set it up but and other people change the settings so that I have to walk over to the pc anyway.
bacically it would be cool if you could restrict access to a group. Then only me and my technicians would be able to change settings.
Some teachers have to be local adms for installing there own software for testing etc.
Please consider this request...
All other parts of UVNC rock!!

Admin Security
Secure the server.
I agree with people that it would really be useful to 'lock-down' the ability for anyone to change the server settings.
I would like to implement VNC onto Student PC's and take control and not have them alter the settings or 'chuck' me off using VNC.
They could protentially have access to the whole network.. etc.
Please include:
1) Password protection for the settings.
2) Disable/password the kill clients option.
Otherwise, I find VNC great and!! over wireless 11b class connections.

Using Admin Console features
I would like to use Ultravnc and all it's features. However, I can't find a admin console that will allow me to push Ultravnc out to another machine and still allow me to use it's features. I am trying VncOn but it doesn't allow me to work with Ultravnc's features. Any suggestions?
Admin Security
What I usually to in this case is install it set up my port and local passwords then I remove the item from the start->all programs menu and change the registry settings to not show a tray icon. unless the user is smart enough to figure out where to go to change it this seems to work pretty well.
use mslogon I or II (depending about your network with or without AD=Active Directory
