CAN connect but CAN'T do anything Window 7 Machine [SOLVED]

I can connect from my XP machine to my win7 machine no problem, passes authentication and everything. I am able to see my windows7 desktop, but thats it. Can't click on anything, cant type anything - cant send CTRL + ALT + DELETE to host...nothing. All drivers were installed successfully. What could i be doing wrong?

Install UltraVNC as a service or run it as administrator. Sounds like an issue with UAC.

it def. is installed as a service. And its being run as administrator. =/

I had this problem too on some machines !...

I find a workaround by copying the ultravnc.ini file from a Windows XP machine to the Windows 7 machine.
The problem seems to be in the .ini file ...
I'm interested by any explication.

just tried the ini copy. Still no luck. The thing that gets me mad is that a while back i had it working with 1.0.8.2. I'm gonna try a rollback to 1.0.8.0

edit: that didnt work either. Debating if i should even bother trying 1.0.6.5

Im such an idiot. I had the same password set in the admin properties for VNC Password, as well as VNC View Only Password. -Rookie mistake, and I appologize for wasting people's time!! LOL

sometimes thats just what happens. You think its so complicated, you dont even bother with the simple stuff. Lesson learned!
