Have UltraVNC going on an XP and Vista box, with no DSM. All works great. Implementing DSM, getting this error.
What does this error mean, please?
Thanks...

Server Closed Connection: The Server running as Application
Re: Server Closed Connection: The Server running as Applica
It means that Java is running on the server side and that will not fly. Unchecking the Java option, no problem.
So be it.
So be it.
Server Closed Connection: The Server running as Application
Hello,
on local LAN there are two computers running UltraVNC installed as a service and both using SecureVNCPluginARC4.dsm. Connecting using the viewer is possible on each of them. Trying to connect from a remote network using a VPN isn't possible (the servers are reachable and the connection is OK - mstsc and other stuff works fine).
Disabling Java didn't help.
How can I connect to the servers using the viewer while connected through VPN? It did work in bygone days...

javaviewer don't support dsm plugin except vnc related product
UltraVNC 1.0.9.6.1 (built 20110518)
OS Win: xp home + vista business + 7 home
only experienced user, not developer

Re: Server Closed Connection: The Server running as Applica
I'm using the normal client (UltraVNC Viewer), not the Java one.
Re: Server Closed Connection: The Server running as Applica
The server seems to want to say it is running java, even though the box is not checked. I put the java port to 0 and then unchecked it. That fixed it for me.
