Windows Firewall

Post by sweetlydark »

I can't seem to get UltraVNC to work through the windows firewall. It work fine with it off.

I added vnc server, vnc viewer, port 5900, port 5800 on both machines but I just cant connect. Both machines are using Windows XP Professional with all updates and service packs.

So just add it as an exception -- it should have prompted you the first time. Someone else mentioned having to do that.
