"Save connection settings as default" not saving s

Post by cbkschroeder »

Hi!

Thanks for taking the time to read my posting.

I'm not sure if anyone else has run into this and said something; I did a preliminary search and came up dry.

In the listener, when I select "save connection settings as default", the settings don't seem to save. I can reboot, I can do what I want, but the next time, the settings don't show up as I've left them.

Can anyone provide any input as to whether or not I'm missing something?

Thanks!

Ah foolish me! It seems I've found the solution to my own problem!

I was using the "encrypt" version of the viewer shortcut to start the viewer. It always gave me the MSRC4Plugin, despite the fact that I wanted to save things to default to the ARC4 plugin. Well, that's because the "encrypt" version of the viewer shortcut actually calls the listener to use the MSRC4Plugin via the command line! THAT would explain it!

Problem solved!

Sorry to be a bother!
