copy and paste - how to isolate client and server?

Post by madhusker »

I have a server that I copy and paste a lot of information and while it's processing each command I work on my own machine. The issue I am having is that copy and paste is put into buffers on each machine and I would like to isolate. I can't find a setting for that, is there a way to specify in a config file for viewer somehow?

I don't know if it's possible, but they were talking about adding this ability 5 years ago...

Edit: In your case a simple workaround is to simply disconnect from the remote machine while it's processing. Or maybe just leave it up in view-only mode? I'm not sure if that "unsynchs" the copy/paste clipboard.
