screen saver with password on client

Hi, my client pc has screen saver with password setting. I can connect and loging to the client pc (screen saver is up and password locked), but the screen is pure white colour and no response on any key/mouse action.

Of course if i remove the client screen saver everything works fine.

How to solve this?

Turn off Aero?

Choose a more basic screen saver when you know you'll be needing remote access?

Just suggestions...

The client is laptop running WinXP on dock station, so there is no Aero. Screen saver selected is blank screen without animation, because i want to "save" the screen. There is no simpler screen saver than this i think.
