Automated install configuration file options

Post by Kasey »

I can't seem to find documentation for the configuration file options that you can use with /loadinf="myconfig.conf" during a silent installation.

Can someone point me to some documentation for this?

And a specific issue: sometimes when running the setup I get a popup asking for permission to remove the uvnc_service service. How can I automate the answer to "yes" for silent installs?

Thanks!

How Do I include ACL file in this instalation ?
And how can I change the option to use MSLogon2 in this instalation
and for last how can I prevent the user to change those properties, after installed ?

Thank you

Robson

Forgive the lateness of reply, but what I do here is use install and configure an end point server as I need. Once it's tested as working, I then copy the "ultravnc.ini" file and use it for all future installs. This way, when you install a new instance, you can copy the .ini file over and be assured that it is pre-configured for what you need. I know this works for the MSLogon2 option, and you can disallow the ability of the user to close the server as well as hide it from their view.

Frankly, being an old command line junkie, I like the fact that the settings are stored in an .ini file versus the registry. Makes it easier for me to facilitate changes when necessary by just pushing the file across the domain when necessary.

Hope this helps.
