SC 2009 freezes on Windows 7 with IE tabs

Problem with SC created with update 2009.
When I use the SC 2009 version with Windows 7 the display freezes when I open a new IE tab from a link in the existing IE window.
It does the same when I open a new IE window from a link in an existing IE window.
I do not get any screen update until I close the first IE window.

On the remote PC the windows are opening and closing normally just not sending the screen refresh to my PC.

If I turn off the hook.dll in the SC properties all works OK.

If I use the SC I had created with the Aut2Exe it works fine in Windows 7 and Vista.

Is there a way to have the hook.dll default to off?

Can't you just leave that file out of your distribution? I think it fails gracefully.

I have same kind of problem on win XP/Vista or 7, but it's not with all pc...
I've only realized, that this problem (no screen refresh) appears when i open IE (6,7 or 8 ?....) on client's pc but not specially a new tab...

I have found a kind of "solution" to refresh screen : i ask to user to open Start menu and generaly it's work : screen refresh is deblock.

I haven't this problem when i use old version of SC....

I believe this may be the same issue I'm experiencing as well. Tested from:

Viewer - Windows 7 64bit
Test Server 1 - Windows Vista 32bit
Test Server 2 - Windows 7 Starter 32bit
Compiled with: UltraVncSC update 2009

Any solution to this? Extract the exe, turn off the hookdll, put it back in?

I will try to revert to the old SC version - it is rock solid, the only problem is for Vista and 7 slow updates. I will try to include some file to disable Aero and continue to use working SC version...
